Top-Managers of OEMs, suppliers and governmental authorities will speak. The CAR-Symposium in China follows the German edition, which is one of the most important annual congress events in Germany with top-speakers like Dieter Zetsche (Daimler), Norbert Reithofer (BMW), Carlos Ghosn (Renault-Nissan), Mark Fields (Ford) or Volkmar Denner (Bosch).
Past keynotes at the CAR-Symposium in China were among others the management board members Ola Källenius (Daimler), Hubertus Troska (Daimler) or Dr. Ian Robertson (BMW).
We feel honored to welcome important keynote speakers and CEOs of the automotive industry. Jaguar Land Rover
Dr Ralf Speth was appointed to the post of Chief Executive Officer at Jaguar Land Rover on February 18, 2010 and is a Non-Executive Director on the Tata Motors Board.
Chairman of the Board of Management
Rupert Stadler was born on 17 March 1963 in Titting (Bavaria).
Stadler studied Business Management, majoring in Corporate Planning/Controllership and Finance, Banking and Investment, at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences.
President & CEO, BMW Group Region China
Mr. Olaf Kastner is a graduate of the University of Hamburg with a master degree in Business Administration. He joined BMW Group in 1998 and has held a number of managerial positions in the company.
From 2009 to 2015, Mr. Kastner was the President and CEO of the joint venture, BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd., in China. As of December 2015, he has been the President & CEO of BMW Group Region China.

Erich Staake has been the Chief Executive Officer of Duisburger Hafen AG for 18 years. Born in Hildesheim in 1953, the business administration graduate worked as a manager at renowned international groups after completing his studies, among them Bertelsmann AG.
General Manager Global Automotive Industry
In January 2012, Dirk Wollschlaeger was appointed IBM General Manager, Global Automotive Industry. Mr. Wollschlaeger is now based in Germany after returning from Shanghai at the beginning of 2014.
Senior Vice President Sales & Business Development
Axel Joachim Maschka joined Valeo in October 2013 as Senior Vice President Sales & Business Development, effective January 1, 2014. He was previously Senior Vice President Purchasing at Volvo Car Corporation. In this capacity, Mr. Maschka expanded his international experience by integrating the Swedish and Chinese teams to form a global automotive purchasing organization.
