The CAR-Symposium in China follows the German edition, which is one of the most important annual congress events in Germany with top-speakers like Dieter Zetsche (Daimler), Norbert Reithofer (BMW), Carlos Ghosn (Renault-Nissan), Mark Fields (Ford) or Volkmar Denner (Bosch).

Dr. Stefan Hartung has been a member of the board of management of Robert Bosch GmbH since January 2013. Since January 2019, he has been chairman of the Mobility Solutions business sector, and responsible for the Powertrain Solutions and Electrical Drives divisions. Prior to this, he was responsible for the Energy and Building Technology as well as the Industrial Technology business sectors, in addition to the Bosch Connected Industry business unit.
Born in Dortmund in 1966, Stefan Hartung is married and has two children. He studied mechanical engineering, specializing in manufacturing technology, at RWTH Aachen, where he also submitted his PhD on quality management methods in 1993.
He joined Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH in Munich in 2004. Before that, he worked for the Fraunhofer Society and the management consultants McKinsey & Company in Düsseldorf.

Dr. Dieter Zetsche has been a member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG since December 16, 1998, and Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG since January 1, 2006. He is also Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars Division.
Mr. Freeman H. Shen is the founder, Chairman and CEO of WM Motor. WM Motor is an emerging EV products and mobility solution provider in China. He was the Group Co-founder and CEO of Pateo Group, a leading vehicle connectivity, telematics and smart car technology company. Before that, he was the Board Member and Group Vice President of Geely Holding Group.

Karsten Crede is CEO of ERGO Mobility Solutions and Board Member of ERGO Digital Ventures AG. Prior to this Crede has been a member of the Management Board of Allianz Versicherungs-AG and CEO of Allianz Global Automotive. Before, he was responsible for global insurance business of Volkswagen Group. Since over 13 years Crede is working on shaping innovative cooperation models between the automotive and the insurance industry.
Dr. Carsten Breitfeld is a world-renowned expert in electric mobility with a PhD in mechanical ,engineering. He spent the past 20 years at BMW, leading a range of key engineering divisions within chassis development, powertrain development and corporate strategy, for more than 10 years as a BMW Group Vice President.
